Ornamental grasses are tough and very resilient and come in all shapes sizes and forms.  They are easy to grow and easy to take care of and can provide and interesting back drop.  The back of the memorial garden has a stone wall that’s falling in and we need to protect it.  It is under a canopy of trees receiving only partial shade most of the year. 

Prepare the site:  We will definitely need to incorporate organic matter into the soil to improve the soil texture.  Add some fertilizer too.   We will prepare the site before the winter. This garden’s only maintenance is in the fall when we will need to neaten the grasses.
